Welcome to the Seminole Fencing Club web site. If you are interested in learning the sport of fencing or are an experienced fencer looking for a place to fence in the Clearwater/St. Petersburg area, please come take a look at our club. Practice is held at the Seminole Recreation Center on 113th Street in Seminole, Florida.

At SFC, we practice all 3 weapons, although most emphasis is on foil and saber. Our club provides an environment where both recreational and competitive fencing are welcome, though we are oriented on a competitive style.

  • 1/22/2005
    Due to renovations on the floor at the rec center, the Seminole Showdown has been cancelled. We will try to have a tournament on the last weekend in February, however.
  • 12/30/2004
    New Beginners class will start January 6, 2005. Contact the rec center at (727)-391-8345 to sign up.
  • 10/25/2004
    Because of the holiday season, the rec center will be closed on the following meeting dates:
    • Nov. 11 2004 - Veterans' Day
    • Nov. 25 2004 - Thanksgiving
    • Dec. 23 2004 - Winter break
    • Dec. 30 2004 - Winter break
    Because of these closings, November and December will count as 1 month.
