Coach / Founder
Brandon Kelley

Coach Brandon Kelley began his fencing career at Virginia
Academy of Fencing under Russian fencing master Alexandre Ryjik. VAF,
the largest fencing club in the nation, provided a unique opportunity
for him to fence an enormous range of fencers. In 2001 he began teaching
at VAF and taught over 400 fencers in one year. His students have gone
on to compete in many local, regional and national competitions. Some
have even become certified referees and instructors themselves.
In addition to coaching, Brandon is also an avid fencing competitor,
referee and administrator. In 2001, he earned the Virginia Division
Jefferson Cup for the men's 3-weapon point standings. He currently has national classifications
(ratings) in all 3 weapons: C-2003 in foil, C-2002 in epee, and D-2004 in saber. He was elected
twice as the Virginia Division USFA chair and is the current Central Florida Division USFA Secretary.
In addition, he serves on the bout committee and referees at most Central Florida competitions.
